What to expect for the
Middle School Experience
Ladue Online Academy middle school students will:
Students will have synchronous core classes (ELA Workshop 1, Math 6/7/8, Science, and Social Studies) taught between the hours of 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with a Ladue teacher. See below for an example synchronous class schedule.
Students will take electives asynchronously. This allows students to complete classwork and participate in lessons at any time during the day or night based on their unique needs and schedule. PE/Health will be offered through Ladue teachers, and any other elective that students want to enroll in will be offered through a MOCAP provider.
Ladue Online Academy students will have access to the same supports and resources as our in-person students. This may mean coming in-person for certain programs such as SSD-provided classes or Apogee.
Students who are in accelerated math will take their math course through a MOCAP provider.

Academic success during the 2020-2021 school year
Access to consistent and reliable Wi-Fi (with hotspot provided by the school if needed)
